Der Zwetschgen Mojito ist trotz der eher winterlichen Zutaten ein erfrischender, sommerlicher Begleiter für die warme Jahreszeit und bietet eine schöne Abwechslung zu den bekannten Sommercocktails. Um die Komplexität des Cocktails zu steigern und ein angenehmes Mundgefühl zu erzeugen hat Oliver Kirschner (Barchef des Gelben Hauses in Nürnberg) das Zwetschgenwasser durch ein Zwetschgenmus ergänzt.
Der Cocktail schmeckt sehr erfrischend, und die süßfruchtigen Aromen des Zwetschgenwassers harmonieren gut mit der Säure der Zitrone. Dabei drängt sich der Zimt nicht in den Vordergrund und rundet den Drink ab. Überzeugen Sie sich selbst davon, dass Zwetschgen und Zimt nicht nur passende Begleiter für die Wintermonate sind.
Zutaten für den Cocktail:
5 cl Geist's Zwetschgenwasser
3 cl Zitronensaft
2 cl Zimtsirup
2 Bsp. Zwetschgenmus bzw. Zwetschgenmarmelade
5 Minzzweige
Topp off mit Sodawasser
2 Dashes Zwetschgenbitters (optional)
Zubereitung:
- Den Zwetschgenbrand, Zitronensaft und die Minzzweige in ein Longdrinkglas geben. Die Minze mit einem Stößel leicht andrücken.

Anschließend das Zwetschgenmus dazu geben und auflösen lassen.
- Eis dazu geben; kalt rühren und mit Crushed Ice sowie Sodawasser auffüllen.
- Als Garnitur einen frischen Minzzweig und etwas Puderzucker verwenden. Optional kann noch ein Zwetschgenbitter hinzugegeben werden.
